The 4A's Sri Lanka recently held an event that left participants buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The event aimed to showcase 20 curated creative submissions from around the globe. With the chance to vote for potential award-winning ads, attendees eagerly soaked up the innovative offerings from renowned brands & ad agencies from around the world. The evening also served as a valuable networking opportunity for professionals in the marketing and advertising community. Let's delve into the highlights.



A Reel of Creativity




The event commenced with an engaging reel that featured 20 exceptional advertisements meticulously curated by the Leo Burnett Global Team. Known for their creative brilliance, these ads were handpicked to provide participants with a glimpse of the groundbreaking ideas likely to make a splash at the Cannes advertising festival. From emotionally compelling narratives to visually stunning imagery, the reel showcased the diverse range of talent and innovative thinking present in the global advertising industry.



Guided by Advertising Maestros




Leading the audience through this mesmerizing reel were two accomplished professionals from the Sri Lankan advertising industry, Ransley Burrows and Chanuka Wijayasinghe. Their vast experience and keen insights into the world of advertising added a layer of expertise to the event. As participants immersed themselves in the visual narratives of the ads, Burrows and Wijayasinghe provided valuable commentary, highlighting the distinctive aspects and potential award-winning qualities of each submission. Their expertise brought the ads to life, allowing attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the intricacies and nuances of advertising excellence.
